Multicolor Stencil
Use Stencil to add graphic pattern to your décor. Precut stencils are available in myriad styles. Stencils can be found in our stores and showrooms.

Base Coat:National New Generation.
Stencil Paint:National New Generation , National New Generation Glow , National Special effect ( If needed)
Steps:
- Prepare your stencils. Stencil a test of your design and make sure the colors read clearly and cleanly especially if one color is applied on top of another.
- Apply the base coat and let it dry, 2 days.
- Figure out repeating pattern and decide where you will begin to stencil. Mark the starting position on your surface; use a chalk line or simple chalk or pencil mark, as appropriate.
- Lightly spray the back of the stencil with the adhesive and let it set for a few minutes, until tacky. Line up the center of the stencil with the corner of the surface and press it into position.
- If you are using New generation , place a tablespoonful on the artist's palette. If New generation Glow , place a small amount on the palette . Lightly dip the stencil brush into the paint. Rub the bristles over a folded paper towel to off-load some of the paint. The brush should leave a light even paint impression before you apply it to your surface. If a tube paint blend seems too thick, add a little water to it.
- Lightly swirls the brush over the stencil. Work from one edge toward the opposite edge. Make the paint density as translucent, opaque, or varied as you like; you can work over an area more than once until you achieve that desired effect. Blend in some retarder if the paint dries too quickly.
- If you wish, use an artist's brush to add freehand details to your design.
Tips:
- To ensure a tight seal, gently rub the stencil into place with a folded paper towel.
- Be sure the motif painted is dry before you realign the stencil on top of it.
- If you are stenciling only one repeat of a complex design, use an artist's palette so that you can put out several colors at once.
